SWIMMING.

SALVATION ARMY GUARDS' DISPLAY. Life-saving Guards of the Salvation Army held a swimming carnival at tUo Municipal Baths on Saturday evening, this being their first display. There was keen swimming, and it ia lipped to hold a similar carnival annually. Ensign Inwood presented the certificates won by competitors.
