The aims and objects of the proposed league are as follows: —To improve the outlook for totally or partially deafened adults; to reduce the ill effects ot deafness to a minimum; to encourage deaf people to realise 'and face their disability; to assist deafened and hard of, hearing people to pursue their accustomed means of livelihood, with a minimum • of inconvenience to then employers, their public and themselves, to eliminate quackery; to co-operate with the Government in dealing wiui the prevention of deafness in childien.
