A SILVER CUP.

PRESENTATION TO DOMAINS BOARD. i The Ghristahurch Domains Board, at its meeting yesterday, was presented with a silver cup by the Canterbury Horticultural Society, for the most -outstanding exhibit at the recent National Flower S-how. The cup, which was presented by Mr O. W. B. Anderson (chairman of Society), will' be the Board's property for one year. Handing the cup to Mr H. Kitson (chairman of the Domains Board), Mr Anderson said that it was presented by the New Zealand Institute of Horticulture for the most meritorious display, and the opinion of the experts was that .the Board's display of pot plants was the most outstanding ever seen in the Dominion. -Mr Kitson said that most of the credit was due to Mr James Young (the Curator) and his staff.
