QUINNAT SALMON.
RUN IN THE HANGITATA. The "silver horde" of quinnat salmon, which finds its way into the Rangitata river to spawn in the early months of each year, has l)egun, and although the- run is not up to average standard, anglers consider themselves fortunate if they go home witly a basket.
