MAJESTIC THEATRE.
"A MAN FROM WYOMING." "A Man from "Wyoming," which will open at. the Majestic Theatre on Mon3ay, is. the tale- of a young man from the great open spaces of the West, who enlists at the-first bugle call and serves valiantly in the great oonflict in Prance. During .a particularly stiff engagement, a young society - girl ambulance drivei' '(June Collyev), "craving thrills, makes her way to the front-. "Away with-pij-v Leave-!" She wanders into the hero's territory and draws shell-fire. He is forced B jf reß ' but though he treats her roughly he cannot help admiring her grit. She is fascinated by his stern manliness and the- result of it all is their marriage in a i reach village back of the lines. Soon they must part, and later the- girl reads that her husband has been killed in action. Overwhelmed by the news, she plunges into an orgy of wild parties; but meaiiwhile her husband, not killed but badly wounded, is seiit to a base hospital, whero his wife iri an attache. He ie shocked to leam of her scandalous behaviour, and though she explains it, he does not believe the explanation. Their differences lead to an estrangement, but after a series of exciting events thry are brought together finally in a happy reunion. There are some remarkably thrilling scenes in the' film, which strikes a new note in war pictures. "WAY OUT WEST." "William Haines makes his uetmt as a cowboy in "Way Out West," which is now at the Majestic, and though he is one© again seen as a bumptious and self-assured person who finally has sense enough to realise that other people have by no means quite as good an opinion of him a« ho himself has, the story is a long way different from, the uaual run of Westein productions.
