A PIONEER'S FUNERAL.

LATE MRS E. MORRISS. - ' An indication of the .widespread respect and esteera felt for'the late Mrs K Morriss, Waikuku, one, of the. pioneers of Canterbury province who died on Sunday at the age of 94, was fiirnished by the large' attendance yesterday afternoon at her funeral, which took place at the Woodend Methodist Cemetery. The burial service was preceded by a short service at the resilience, conducted by the Rev. J . R.
