Went Indies won the final Test match by the narrow margin of 80 runß. They had all the luck of the game, but the captain showed good tactics throughout. Grant declared immediately to-day, making Australia bat on a rain-damaged wicket. , Both Woodfull and Ponsford' were dropped twice in the opening overs. .With the score at 49, however, both fell to beautiful catches by Constantine. The figures were th;ee for ,53, when Bradman and Oldfield were dismissed for "ducks." Kippax and Kigg failed to stay, and with six down for 76 Australia's'position' was desperate. McCabe and were'then associated, and runs came at a good .pace. This . pair carried the total past the ISO mark, and Australia's stocks ' were beginning to rise when McCabe lost hjs.wieket. The tail-enders made a gallant stand, but-failed to deny the visitors of their well-earned victory. Scores:
