SHIP RUNS ASHORE.
CABLE TO UNDERWRITERS. [THE FBSSS Sveetel ,B«mce.] WELLINGTON, March 1. The Council of the Marine Underwriters reoeived the. 'following, cable yesterday: "The s.s. Benmohr went ashore ut Prawle Point, Devon; and is considered to be in a critical condition. The vessel is bumping heavily, and leakage is increasing. At the time of cabling all the holds and the boiler and enginerooms are safe." * 1 Unfler ' charter to Messrs; G. H. Scales, Ltd., the Benmohr left Port Chalmers on January 6th with a cargo nf wool for,, Dunkirk, London, and Hull. Bhe arrived EDome on February 15th. ;
