TEAM FOR ENGLAND TO SAIL. SUFFICIENT SHARES SUBSCRIBED. The New Zealand cricket team to tour England will definitely sail from Wellington on Saturday, March" 28th. Although there has been some difficulty in financing the tour., the: chairman of New Zealand Cricket, Limited (Mr A. T. At a meeting of the ir&nagement Committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council, which was held subsequently, it was stated that the manager, captain, and vice-captain of the team would be announced within a few days. The company meeting was attended by Messrs Donnelly, H. M. Taylor, E. B. Caygil], P. Dalrymple, J. Samsden, W. H. Winsor, and D. E. Wanklyn (director), and one shareholder.
Tho formal business included the presentation of tho report, dated February 12th, which stated that the-total number of £1 shares then allotted was 4016, of which 3561 were paid up to 10s, and 130 up to £l. Calls had not been paid on the remaining 325. The total eash receipts were £l9lO 10s, and of this amount £502 10s had been used as deposit on fares to England. The sum of £IOOO had been placed on deposit at call, and was earning per cent.' Further Shares Allotted. "Since the report was made," said Mr Donnelly, "there has been a satisfactory increase in the number of shares allotted, and the total subscribed to date is 6041, made up as follows: —

That will be the goal we hajra in view during the th ® ? hare^e ™. of H. Piper,
