' The following classes .in country ..and other centres were recommendejl to be authorised: —Rangiora, science. Oxford, social psychology. Kaiapoi, sociology. Ashburton, history. Now Brighton, Empire problems. Timaru (3): Economics, literature, sociology. _ Waimate, lit; erature. y In addition,, classes under the 'Box Scheme, and under the Carnegie Scheme/ to the number of 30, will be organised. • The weekly socials, for students and their friends, are to be conlinued. The first will be held on Febfuary 28th. An advanced Debating l«kib, under the leadership of Mr J. Hi Wilson, is to be organised. » The* public lectures on popular subjects, and the Paparua -Prison Class ar9 to be continued. The question, as to whether the "-.National Conference of the''Association should be held this year,' was referred 1 to-the '.
