, I FAIRLIE FUND. Subscriptions on the list in the Mackenzie County Council office, in aid of the Earthquake Relief Fund, are now as follows:
* OHOKA DISTRICT. i The canvass of the Ohoka district in aid of * the Earthquake "Relief Fund yielded £95 0s 6d. The committee in charge of the arrangements has .expressed its tha' ' to the v voluntary collectors, ' and advises that those . who , promised donations • should.- forward their contributions to the Bev. H. Cotton, chairman of the committee. ■ A retiring collection at the Ohoka Methodißt Church last; Sunday realised £2 10s 6d fpr the same fund. SCOTTISH SOCIETY'S ASSISTANCE. The proceeds from dances held on Saturday and Tuesday evenings, promoted by the Scottish Society in aid of ' the Earthquake Belief Fund,' amounted to £BO.
