At an extraordinary mwting of Keep Macpherson, Ltd., in Sydney, a company which had its origin 106 y«ar« »go, a resolution waa passed that the company be. wound up voluntarily. In moving the, resolution,, Mr I Vero Read, who presided iw the represepta- ' tive ot the chairman (Mr I, A. Hawley), stated that it was estimated that the value ot the fixed and liquid assets at Deosmber i 31st. 1980, was £400,000, while the liabilities were estimated at £l7ff,ooo. The affairs ot the company had b««a advetsel? affected by the financial depression, and- its diffianltiea ' had been accentuated by the demands of the bank for the repaytaent of the overonft.
