BROADSIDING AT MONICA PARK.

AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONS AND GOLD HELMET RACE. Speedway patrons are promised some exhibitions of highest class broadsiding on Saturday, when two Australian riders, Ben Unwin and Bert Jones, will appear on the programme. An additional attraction will be the match race for the Chevrolet Gold He» et between Percy Lunn (holder) nd C. tslaciclock (challenger). . . Bert Jones direct from racing on tracks in England, Denmark, and Germany, ana comes here with a reputation second to none. How the local men will fare remains to be seen, but they should provide solid opposition. The Gold Helmet race is likely to be one of the thrills of the evening. The two competitors are evenly matched. Both have done great times and both are at present at the top of their form. Lunn, the popular champion, will have to do his utmost to beat the challenger. The balance of the programme is well varied, and it can be safely said that the evening will be productive of some groat racing. Reserves are obtainable at Lange's tobacconist.
