Although five of the New South Wales members of the Test team received their £l5O Rood conduct money, payment to D. G. Bradman has been withheld. It is stated that the Board of Control's attention has been directed to liradman's newspaper articles, while the Tests were being played in lingland. The manager of the team, Mr J. J. The monthly meeting of delegates of tlie Suburban Cricket Association wa3 held on Tuesday evening, Mr H. W. Kogers presiding over an attendance of thirty delegates, illr R. Griffiths was accepted as delegato from the Beckenliain Club in place of Mr W. Li) v. sou. The rules of the Association were altered iu accordance with notices of motion given at the last meeting. Mr li. M. Clark moved and Mr K. Jiing seconded: That rule 3 of the Melhuisti Shield rules be added to as follows: —"That uny club with four or mora teams ehall be allowed to make two entries, but the same team shall not be nominated twice." Mr K. King moved and Mr H. M. Clark seconded: That in future all delegate* meetings commence at 7.30 p.m. This was ag reed to. Mr P. Peacock moved and Mr \V. Aitlten seconded: That all matches be continued till G. 30 p.m. during daylight saving. This was carried. The Auckland Suburban Cricket Association wrote appealing for assistance on behalf of a player, R. Burton, who suffered severe injuries during a match early in the season. It was decided to give £1 1# towards the fund and to ask all clubs to canvass all players for subscriptions to the fund It was decided to postpone all competition games on December 27th and January 3rd on account of the Christmas and New Year holidays and Plunket Shield matches. The chairman was authorised to make arrangements for the junior representative match against North Canterbury. Complaints were received from olubs regarding the Btato of the wickets at Sydenham Park and the matter was referred to the chairman, and the chairman of the grounds ifomniittee. ■ ' ' * The secretary reported that the Sub-Asso ciation shield match against Malvern would ba played on January 7th, Bth, and 9th, at Hagley Park. Mr H. Kogers was appointed manager. The question of forming an Umpires' Association was discussed, the secretary reporting that one club had supplied the names of four men who were willing to esoist. The chairman stated that repeated endeavours had been made to form an Association, but the clube had failed to support the Association in the past and until the clubs pave more support little could be done in the matter. MARYLEBONE Y. RHODESIA. (UIOTED PRESS ASSOCIATION—BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COP*aIOHT.) OAPB TOWN, December 9. Marylebone, in the second innings against Rhodesia, made 322. Chapman and Allom did not ba-t. Leyland made 168, the highest score of the tour, and Hammond 49, retired indisposed. Chapman then declared, as there were only eight fit men, and the match w«s drown.
