ROYAL CHRISTCHURCH MUSICAL SOCIETY. A public performance of the *'Messiah'' will be given by the Royal Christchurch Musical Society on Wednesday, December 17th, in the Municipal Concert Hall, at 8 p.m. The soloists engaged are Miss Gladys Brooks (soprano), Mrs F. Nelson Kerr (conlTalto), Mr J. Hadland (of Greymouth, and by special arrangement Mr Ernest Short (of Wellington, baritone).
