RESUMPTION OF WORK EXPECTED. (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) RUGBY, December 7. It is taken for granted that at a conference at Glasgow of a joint conciliation board representative of the owners and miners an agreement will be reached whereunder work will be resumed in the Scottish coalfields on Monday. WORK RESUMED. (Received December Bth, 7.40 p.m.) LONDON, December 7. The Scottish Collieries have resumed work after meetings were held in the chief arons of Midlothian and Had d'ngtonshire.
