WALKER BEATS LURICH. (PRESS ABBOCY ATIOK TELEGaAIf.) AUCKLAND, December 8. A professional * wrestling contest between George Walker <l3st 51b) and Tom Lurich (14st 51b) ended in the sixth round, Walker winning by two fa-lls to one. Walker gained a fall in the third round with a reverse toehold. Imrich evened in the futh with a fall by a body scissors and arm-bar. Walker won in the sixth with a shin throw and hodv press. The match was staged by the New Zealand Wrestling Association, and wa-s witnessed by a lar~e crowd. Walker maintained his undefeated record for the season, and his win was most popular.
