Late.-t scores in the billiards tourney are:— Billiards. Davis 24,613, including ;i break of 287. Lindrum 23,867, including breaks of 327, 284, 293, and 434. Newman 36,230, including breaks of 933, 109, 150, 697, 549,.424, and 1160 defeated McConacliy 19,374, including breaks of 315 and 297. Snooker. Davis 1823 v. Lindrum 1082. Newman 1611 v. MeConachy 1199. I'LAYEiJS' REQUEST IGNORED. LONDON, December o. W. Lmdruin, C. McC'onachy, J. Davis, find T. Newman have requested tho Billiards Association Control Council to adopt napless eloth and consult them regarding tho financial terms of the English championship. Both requests were ignored, consequently Lindrum and Davis announced that they will not bo competing in the championship. It is believed that Newman is contemplating going to Australia. McConacliy and Willie Smith are not competing in the championship. Thus the world's five best billiardists are not participating.
