MOSCOW TRIAL CONTINUED.
DERISIVE SPEECH. PROSECUTOR'S ADDRESS. (CKITEO PRESS ASSOCIATION —BY EI.ECTBIC TELEGRAPH —COPYRIGHT.) (Received December sth, 7 p.m.) MOSCOW, December 4. In. ironical mood, the Public Prosecutor, M. Krylenko, began his speech for the prosecution at the trial of the professors. ' He ridiculed Ramzin as a dupe of monarchists and capitalists. Addressing him directly, he exclaimed: "They liaive used you and then tell you to get out, you serf." Luridly he pictured the recent White Russian demonstration in Paris, derisively reading the names of those present, and of former Grand Dukes, generals, priests, and courtiers, which were received with paroxysms of laughter. He also violently attacked M. Poincar6 and Sir Henri Deterding, and declared: "We never interfered with France and Britain as they interfere with us." He described the accused as saboteurs of the five years' plan, which, despite the scepticism of the world, Russia had successfully accomplished. The accused were pale, and showed signs of nervous strain.
