Tho Riga correspondent of "Tho Times'' states: Further mass trials are promised in Russia. Officials of the O.G.P.U. (secret police) at Minsk have arrested former members of the White Russian Republic for alleged plotting for financial assistance nnd military intervention by Great Britain, France, and Poland, to arrange for White Russia's secession.

The O.G.P.U. is also preparing three trials of engineers and technicians and Ihe trial of officials in connexion with alleged anti-economic plots of White Russians at Nij ni-Novgorod, in Siberia. The White Russian plot, it is alleged, embraces official and ceonomio establishments of residents of Nijni-Novguro'd, mostly electricians, who are charged with sabotage at tho power station and crippling local industry. Siberians aro charged with disorganising timber exports.—"The limes" Cables.
