BURGLARS BUSY.
MR RANSOM'S HOME RANSACKED (PBESB ASSOCIATION TIIEG&AK.) . DANNBVISKE, December. 3. Daring the absence of the ActingPrime Minister (the Hon. E. A. SuBom) at his farm at Akitio, burglars paid a visit to his residence in Qaeen street, Dannevirke, aid ransacked' the place. Mr Ransom was still at Akitio when his daughter visited the place on Tuesday afternoon and found that the.furase had been ransacked. .. Drawers and cupboards had been - opened' in almost every room, and the contents disturbed. It is known that a little jewellery and two gold presentation keys and cigarettes are missing. The burglars made an unsuccessful attack on a safe in the study. Entrance, .waa. gained by breaking a leadlight. panel in' the side door.
