ODDFELLOWSHIP.
The fortnightly meeting o£ the Loyal City of Christchurch Lodge, M.U., 1.0.0. F., wa,s held on Monday, N.G. Bro. Ayrey presiding. Sick pay amounting to £SO 15b was passed for payment. Two candidates were proposed for membership, and one was initiated into the Order. Reference was made to the late Bro. Chick, who was a member of the Lodge for about 54 years,- and had only missed Lodge meetings through illness, which is a record that will be hard to beat. A motion of sympathy with the family Bnd relatives of the late brother was carried in silence, and the meeting adjourned for .five minutes as a mark Of respect. Bro. Archbold presented a P.G.'s jewel to P.G; Bro. West in appreciation of his faithful services to the Lodge. Bro. West, in reply, urged the young members to take office. Bro. Winter presented the dispensary report, which was adopted.
