THEFT FROM TILL.
TWO YEARS' DETENTION. (FBBS3 ASSOCXATIO* TEIJSGaiM.) ' WELLINGTON, December 2. Lewis Edward Williams, 21, stated to be in a good job and oarning £4 10s a week, was sentenced to two years' detention in a Borstal institution today by Mr E. Page, S.M., for having failed to take advantage of a previous term of probation. Ho pleaded guilty to two charges of theft of money totalling £6 13s lid from John Craig Wright. It was stated that ho had got into the habit of renting cars from Rental ; Cars, Ltd. On returning one day he J saw the office open, with no one in it, and took 13s lid from the till. On a subsequent occasion he took £6.
