Oft AND OPERA SEASON. RUGBY, November 30. At this year's metropolitan international grand opera season at Covcnt Garden Maestro Tulbio Serafin, principal conductor of the Metropolitan Opera House, New York, will take charge of the Italian work, and Herr Bruno Walter and Professor Robert Heger will conduct the German work. CHARGE AGAINST LEVINE. VIENNA, November 30. Charles Levine's lawyer says he expects Levine to be free to spend Christmas with his family in New York. He says the whole difficulty arose owing to the engraver being unable to understand Levine's broken German. Levine denies the divorce rumour, and says it is all "hot air." Levine, the millionaire American flyer, is being held on a counterfeiting ehargo. KING CAIIOL'S MATRIMONIAL AFFAIRS. VIENNA, November 30. King Carol's matrimonial affairs are again in prominence. The possibility that he may find a bride outside Royalty is suggested by two Rumanian newspapers. One reports that a law is being prepared enabling this. According to advices from Bucharest Princess Helen intends to live abroad permanpntlv. The Royal pair's estrangement is now complete, and there is no prospect of a reconciliation.
