WALTHAM SCHOOL CARNIVAL.
A sum of £246 was collected at the fete and queen carnival held recently by pupils of the Waltham School to provide funds for tho erection of additional buildings and the carrying out of necessary alterations in the existing class-rooms and grounds. The queen carnival was won by the Standard V. queen, Ruby Simpson, and the crowning ceremony is to take place in the Kine'a Theatre oa December 9th.
