ASSESSMENT COURT.

CHRISTCHURCH SITTINGS NEXT . MONDAY. Sittings of the Assessment Court will commence in Christehurch on Monday nest when objections to the valuations of three properties at Cheviot and Waipara will be heard. Mr J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M., president of the Co rt. will preside. Yesterday morning Mr Hewitt, who is also chairman of the Railway Appeal Board, heard a minor appeal, and to-day lie will leave for Roxburgh and Lawrence to conduct sittings ot the Assessment Court.
