(Received November 30th, 6.6 p.m.) LONDON, November 29. 111-luck quickly followed the good fortune of Mr Prescott, the first prizewinner of the Irish Sweepstake. He was unable to attend at Dublin to receive the cheque, as 1)0 was attending his father's funeral in London, his father having died suddenly during the week. Mr Dawe. of Vancouver, has not Bent word how the second prize should be paid to him Remittance to Canada presents legal difficulties, and it is not known whether Mr Dawe intends to come to Ireland to collect his money. The "Worksop Widow," who won £20,000. has also hnd a bereavement, as her brother died on Thursday as a result of a motor accident.
