BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL.
JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS NEXT YEAR. Preliminary arrangements are in tiain for the celebration of the jubilee of the Christchurch Boys' High School m May next year. A full programme of functions has been planned by a committee representing the Board of Governors of Canterbury College, the Old Boys' Association, and the headmaster and staff. A special number of the school magazine is being prepared and will contain a history of the school and a series of articles by old (iovs and others covering the period of fifty years that the school has been in existence. The programme as outlined at present is: Thursday, May 14th, 1931: Evening, concert. Friday, May 15th: Morning and afternoon visits to the old school, Worcester street; evening. Jubilee bnll. Saturday, May 16th: Morning, motor drive; afternoon, sports meeting ; evening, jubilee dinner. Sunday, May 17th: Procession from the old school and service at the Cathedral. Monday, May 18th: Afternoon, reunion at the school; evening, conversazione. With respect to old boys coming from a distance to attend the celebrations, it is hoped to make arrangements to billet them.
