CLAY BIRD SHOOTING.

SOUTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. (PRESS association telegram.) DUNEDIN, November 28. The South Island clay bird championship, 1930 was held this afternoon in excellent ■weather. The event, 21 birds off IS yards resulted in a tie between I. G. Watkins (Rangiora) and T. Clouston (Lauder), who each broke 20 birds. In the shoot-off of a further five birds, Watkins secured the possible and annexed the championship.
