Tho Waimarino arrived yesterday from | Auckland and "Wellington, and sails to-day for Dunedin and Timaru. She is due back on Thursday to load for Auckland. The Opihi waR exacted to arrive *t Lyttelton at midnight last night from Wellington. She is to sail to-day for Dunedin, and in due back via Timnru on Wednesday to load for Nelson and New Plymouth. The Calm arrived last evening from Wanganui and Wellington, and sails to-day for Bluff, Dunedin, and Timaru. She will be back here on Saturday next to take in cargo for Wellington and Wnnganiii. The Wingatui is an expected arrival today from Portland and Wellington. After discharging cement she will sail thin afternoon for Bluff, Dunedin, and Oamaru, She should arrive hack at this port on Saturday to load for Auckland. The Waipiata is due on Thursday from Auckland and Wellington, and is to sail the same day for Dunedin and Timaru. The Echo is due here to-morrow from Blenheim, and loads hero on Monday for the return trip. The Foxtou should arrive here to-morrow or early on Monday morning from Poxton. Sh* loads here for the same port. The Breeze is now expected here on Tuesday from the south, and Rails in the afternoon for Wellington and Wanganui. The Holmdale is an expected arrival on Tuesday from Dunedin and Timaru. Sho loads for Wellington and Wanganui. SOMERSET AT LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company huK received advit;e that the. Federal steamer Somerset, which left Auckland on October IGth, arrived at London on Tuesday. RADIO FROM PORT HUNTER. The Port Hunter, en route from New York, reports that sh»> expects to arrive at Auckland to-morrow afternoon. She has cargo to discharge at New Zealand ports. THE AORANGI. The Union Company advise that their motor-liner Aorangi, from Vancouver via Honolulu, arrival at Suva at 7 a.m. on Thursday. She left in the afternoon for Auckland an'd Sydney, and is due at Auckland to-morrow. MESSAGE FROM TAINL'I. The Tainui, which left. Napier on November 20th for London, via Panama, has reported that fine weather hns been experienced since leaving, and that all are well on board. Tho vessel expects to arrive oft I'itcairn Island early this morning. PORT NICHOLSON FOR LONDON. The C. and D. Lino advise that the Port Nicholson was to leave Tokomaru Bay early on Thursday morning for Auckland to complete her Homeward loading. She is now scheduled to clear the northern port finally on December 3rd for London, via the Panama Canal. KUROW FROM MELBOURNE. The Union Company received advice that the Kurow from Devonport and Adelaide left Melbourne on Tuesday for Auckland, New Plymouth, Tarakoho, Wellington, and Lyttelton. She is duo at Auckland Tuesday. CITY OF DELHI FROM NEW YORK The A. and A. Line has received cabled news that their chartered steamer, City of Delhi, cleared New York on. November 19th and Newport News on November 22nd for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is duo tit Auckland on December 21st. NEW MATSON LINER. A third new liner, similar to the two ! already under construction, has been ordered | by tho Mat-son Line. With a displacement of 25,885 tons, the now vessel will be 632 fcot in length, over aJJ, and will cost over £2,000,000. There will be nino decks, and accommodation for 800 passengers. Two outdoor swimming tanks, a full-sized tennis court, and gymnasiums will bo features. 'Twin propellers will give the liner a speed ox 21 knots. SMART PASSAGES. Thft New Zealand Shipping Co., Ltd. have received a radio message from the s.s. Kotorua that the liner expects to arrive at Wellington at 6 p.m. to-day, being two days ahead of schedule.
