Auckland—Yesterday was the iine3t day experienced at Auckland during this month. Bright summer weather prevailed and a light breeze was D-lowing from the north. Tho barometer registered 30.50 last evening. "Wellington—Yesterday was ft perfect day of bright sunshine from a cloudless sky, with the lightest of breezes. Dunedin —Following a long spell of wet and unsettled weather, conditions were fine yesterday, with bright sunshine and a fresh wind from the north-east. The maximum temperature was CO degrees. The barometer is fairly steady at 30.^35. Forecast. General .Situation —A very intense anticyclone has moved on to tho Dominion, tho pressure at its centre being over 30.50 in. A depression is advancing across the South Tasmon Sea.
