FOURTEEN ARRESTS IN SYDNEY. (UKITED TRESS ASSOCIATION —BT ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) SYDNEY. November 27. The Chief Secretary, Mr M. Gosling, referring to the number of recent robberies by armed men, said all possible members of the police force should be made ava lable for active duty. Those employed on clerical duty would be relieved m order to take up outside service. Fourteen men were arrested in connexion with armed robberies. Four members of one gang were sentenced to four years, and three members ot another to three years' imprisonment.
