SUMNER CYCLING CLUB.
Mr K A McKaskell presided over a meeting of tho committee oi the Sumnor Cycling Olub. Present —Messrs H. Wilson, E. Unwin, It. Thompson, and G. Gerard. Mr J. Adcock was added to the Managemerit Committee. It was decided to hold regular meetings of the committee on the first Monday in caen month. . Arrangements were made to hold another race next Monday, at G. 45 the course to b© round Sumner, via Wakefield avenue, Nayland street, and Ileberden avenue, to the Si-hool for the Deaf. This will make a tenmil© course, and will afford the residents an opportunity of witnessing the progress of the race ot varying stages., The secretary stated that thore were already twenty-two entries. , It was also decided to arrange a ladies race over a course of two and a half mues. The following delegates were appointed to the Civic Federation;— Messrs J. H. Parsons and H. Wilson.
