SALESMAN COMMITTED FOR ' TRIAL. tiIESS ISSOCIVTIOX TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, November 26. In tho Magistrate's Court, Clement Robert. Lau-son, salesman, was charged with stealing a motor-cycle valued at £BO, a Post Office money box valued iit £1 9s, and being in possession of nn unregistered rifle. Evidence given for the police alleged that accused, after stealing the motor-cycle, had considerably altered it, and it cost £2o or £3O to put it in order again Accused pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial.
