Tolling in connexion -ivitli 1 lie 1 ritanial election of to the CiristcliurcJi Tramway Board will tyke place to-day between the liours ol' 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Complete arrangements have been made by the Returning Officer, Mr JVaak Thompson, and polling places have been provided in all the tramway sab-districts. .Electors, should note that it is not necessary for them to vote at polling places in the particular Bub-distriet in respect of which tliev are enrolled; they can vote at any polling place as all the deputies and poll clerks have been supplied with rolls and voting papers for all the sub-dis-triets. As was the ease three years ago, the Labour Representation Committee lias nominated candidates for almost all the Mb-distriets. All the members of thu present Board are seeking re-election. Persons who are ratepayers, or who posse«s the residential qualification, may ] vote, provided that their names are on j the roll.
