NTSW PLYMOUTH. November 25. "It is a case of mistaken identitv and I plead not guiltv." said Timothy Pioiard Christian, when charged in the Supreme Court with indecently assaulting a girl at Hawera. The case depended largely on the evidence or the girl and a small boy. who said no had seen Christian near the locality. The girl was not definitely able to identifv Christian's coat, and various colours. She had selected Christian in an identification parade without hesitation. Prisoner was acquitted by the jury.
