GUARD AT SPEAKER'S HOUSE WOUNDED. (ui'iivu) raras issocrvne?- ifcttisTo TTLBOBiFU—CO»YSIOJIT.) (Received Noi-ember 24th, 7.45 p.m.) LONDON, Jvovember 24, A mysterious affair has occurred In Dublin. Shots wore fired outside tho house of Professor Hayes, Speaker of the Dail Eireann, The guard, who returned the lire, was wounded, and was taken to s hospital. There was afterwards much police activity in Dublin, including the holding up of tram-cars and motor-cars. Many rumours were floating about the city, one being that the Speaker himself was attacked aad wounded.
