ROAD CROSSINGS OVER TRAM RAILS.
COMPLAINTS ABOUT LEVELS. A lctler was received l>y the Chris trthureh Trnmu-iiv Rrwird ypstordnv .from the United Burgesses' Association asking that roads be packed up level with tram vails at crossing*, especially in North belt, South belt, and Ferry road. The general manager (.Mr Frank Thompson) said the engineer had inspected the rails in the streets, the subject of the complaint, and reported that tho road had been built above the tracks; and that there was 110 danger to traffic if drivers were careful. Tho chairman (Mr \V. Hayward): Then this letter says just what it do&sn't mean. The communication was merely "received."'
