THEFTS ON BOARD SHIP.

NO ARREST MADE. (.raiss jlsbociatiom tileceui.) INVERCABGILL, November 24. Detectives greeted the arrival of the Maheno at Bluff from Melbourne this morning, having been previously advised by wireless that several thefts from passengers' cabins had taken place. A total of £5 in silver was obtained from four different cabins. An investigation was carried out but no arrest was made. The Maheno brought 97 cabin and 155 steerage passengers.
