The British and the United States Embassy have asked the Government to send Troops to protect the foreigners on the Talara oilfields, where agitation ,s increasing, due to recent disorders. The situation is recarded as grave, as 7000 labourers are tuere employed by the national petroleum works of the Canadian Standard Oil and by the British Txjb'tos Oil Company.
