Selecting a fine afternoon he makes his way with this hvbrid to ono of the by-pass roads leading out of London. Here he waits until a sufficiently arrogant-looking v'ctim appears in a powerful sports car If the victim is inclined to sneer at the dilapidated machine so much iho better. . ... ~ The entertainment begins with the practical joker passing the other car at, say, thirty-five miles per hour, the victim then responds by sailing pest acgrilv at forty-five. He is then overtaken bv a vibrating mass ot apparent junk at"fifty, and all further attempts to overtake it fail.. The change of expression on the victim's face from arrogance and scorn to surprise and final humiliation is said to be mos> gratifying to watch.
