TERRITORIAL AIR FORCE.
♦ ! SQUADRON ON TOUR. FLIGHT IN NORTH ISLAND. tPB£S3 ASSOCIATION NEW PLYMOUTH, November 23. Five aeroplanes, comprising Number 1 Bombing Squadron of the X® rr^or ' a ' branch of the Air Force, arrived atNew Plymouth on Saturday morning from Auckland in unfavourable Hyi-. weather. The machines, which were m the charge of Squadron-Leader Seabrook, remained the night at Bellbloek Aerodrome. This morning the direct route to Hawera overland, being over Mount E'gmont, was barred by heavy clouds and rain, so the squadron flow ovor the sea, around Cape Egmont, and «afely reached Hawera after a very squally flight. After a rest of an hour the machines continued to Feildmg. The return flight to Auckland will be by way of Hastings and the East Coast. This is one of the first of such organised flights undertaken by the force.
