LINDBERGH TO PLY TO CAPE HORN. LONG TOUR PLANNED. (TOITBO FBES3 ASSOCIATION—BT ELECTRIC TEMCSAPH— COPTBIGHT.) NEW YORK, November 21. Following a preliminary flight to the Pacific Coast and back, Colonel Charles Lindbergh and Mrs Lindbergh will soon leave on a 22,000-mile air tour down the Atlantic coast to South America and around Cape Horn, returning up the Pacific coasts of South and North America, for an inspection of the PanAmerican Airways lines. It is stated that the preliminary trip will be for the purpose of the installation of a new wing on the aeroplane which Colone) and Mrs Lindbergh used on their record flight across the Continent in April of this year. A new 600-horsepower Wright motor has also been installed.

OSCAR GARDEN'S PLANS

TOUR OF NEW ZEALAND BY AIR. SYDNEY, November 22. The airmen, Mr Oscar Garden and Mr F. W. Haig, will make a flying tour of both Islands of New Zealand. They will spend some weeks visiting townships which have arranged receptions in Mr Garden's honour.

Mr Garden, who is due to arrive at Y\ ellington by the Uiimaroa to-morrow morning, will be entertained at morning tea on Wednesday by members oi Cabinet. The Acting-Prime Minister < the Kon. E. A. Ransom), who is inCTsposcd, will be represented by tho Minister for Native Affairs (the Hon. Sir Apirana Ngata). The Government will also be represented at the civic reception to Mr Qarden to-morrow. A message from Pittsburg states that Mrs Keith Miller, the Australian airwoman, hopped off to-day on a flight to Havana.

Later news states that Mrs Miller has advised her backers that late on Saturday night she was forced down at Charleston, South Carolina, by strong head winds. She is arranging to take off on Sunday for Havana, viu Miami, Florida.
