For, the and Joiners' Committee, Mr Winsor sa.id that the proposal that Claris should take his brother into partnership was quite in order, and provided that it was satisfactory to the Court, it complied with the terms of the award. The position had been that if Clark had employed tho additional apprentice, his proportion of employees would have been contrary to the award, but by tho partnership being made, this v.aa avoided.

There had in the past been & number of cases, especially in tho Auckland district, said Judge Frazer, ot' bogus partnerships, but he took it that Mr Bailoy would enquire into the position, and tho committee and the Registrar would satisfy themselves th?t everything wae in order. The appeal would be withdrawn.
