LONDON, November 19. In the House of Commons, during the debate on the present position of British agriculture, Mr Lloyd George, the Liberal Leader, was unsparing in his condemnation of dumping. Ho said it was not only a question of plums, currants, and fruits, but also wheat.

"I am against dumping. Free trade must not be expected to carry that monster on its back. If the treaties permit unfair dumping, it is time they were revised.

Several speakers emphasised tho desirability of including agricultural workers within the unemployment insurance scheme. Miss Margaret Bondfleld, on behalf of the Government, approved of this.
