[The Dornier Do.X was delayed for several days at I'riedrichshafen by unfavourable weather. It then Hew uafely to Calshot, and suffered a further delay there. Fog interfered with the flight to Bordeaux, and the flying-boat did not reach its destination, but arrived at tho river Gironde, 20 miles from Bordeaux, :;nd was moored there.]
ENGINES FOR BIG FLYING-BOAT.
EXI'LANATON FROM BERLIN. (ttceoived November 20th, 5.5 p.m.) 15ERLIN, November 19. The builders of tho Dornier Do.X deny the reported intention of replacing the 12 engines nt present installed in the aeronlatio with eight RollsRoyce engines. A British Official Wireless message from Rugby says that reports from Uerlin indicate that it was in connexion with the enjoining of future flying-ships of the Do.X type, and not tho Do.X itself that Dr. Dornier wan in negotiation with the maker* of Rolls-Royce eucines while he was in England recently.
MRS KEITH MILLAR'S HAVANA FLIGHT.
.Vl')W YORK, November 19. A report from Pittsburg states that Mrs Keith .Miller abandoned her onestop flight to Havana to-day, owing to the southvard path being blocked bv fog. She returned to Pittsburg after the morning hop-off, but hopes to make an attempt again to-morrow. Jacksonville, Florida, will be her single fctop. She is flying a low-wing cabin monoplane.
