A meeting of the executive of the Manawatu Flaxmill Employees' Association held at Shannon decided that a special meeting should be held at Foxton next Saturday for the purpose of considering a resolution passed recently bv a combined meeting of fiaxmillers and flax workers asking that the award should be suspended. In the event of approval of the suspension of the award, a ballot of members will be held before measures are taken to bring the request into effect.
