(UUITBD rit*Sß iSSOptATIOK—BT BLSCTBIQ TBLEGBiPH —COPTBIOHT.)

(Received November 12th, 7.30 p.pi.) NEW YORK, November XX.

Another interesting result of the present "hard times" was revealed when Admiral R. E. Byrd, the explorer, announced: "Almost every day I receive calls for help from Borne of the men who were with we in the Antarctic, and I cannot turn them down. The hard times have dealt us a serious blow. At present the expedition is 110,000 dollars in debt. We must get onr debt paid before I can discuss any plans for the future. The moving-picture, 'With Byrd at the South Pole/ is not making anything to speak of.''
