FRENCH AIRMEN'S FEAT

PELHI, November 11.

All records for a light aeroplane flight from Europe to India 1" ve been eclipsed by two Frenchmen, M. Lalloutte (pilot), and M. Goulette (owner), who, leaving Paris in a Farman monoplane at midday on Saturday, arrived at KaAchi cn Monday evening. Starting at'dawn to-day, they reached Calcutta, via Allahabad, in the evening. The flight was kept most secret, the object being to reach Saigon in Ave days from Paris, and demonstrate the possibilities of a parcel service between France and Indo-China.

BOSTON YOUTH HOLDS TWO RECORDS. NEW YORK, November 11. An 18-years-old Boston youth, Stanley Boynt'on, who took on his first aeroplane ride 15 months ago, to-day hci'ds the junior speed records for the East and West flights acrpss the United States. He bettered the West-bound record by four hours.
