LIBERTY THEATRE.
There is a certain appekt about historical novels and plays which calls for a far greater degree of appreciation than modem themes which iaok the degree of grandeur and impressiveness which characterises the life of earlier centuries. Tha producers of the part talking film, "The Divine Lady," showing at the Liberty Theatre this week, have chosen an historical novel of the Napoleonic wan. and hare made of it an undeniably good piotnra. The oast in "The Divine Lady" is headed by Oorinne Griffith, H. B, Warner, and .Victor Varconi, Mies Griffith's portrayal <*f the beautiful courtesan of the Napoleenie age Is well sustained.
